No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 122

Frank slapped Isaac in anger. "How dare you tamper with Noelle's things? Do you want to die?" "I-I didn't. I..."

Isaac was stunned. This couldn't be happening. He had previously hacked into the company's surveillance system and deleted the footage from the past few days. How could there still be evidence?

After seeing the surveillance video, Xenia realized something was off. Noelle had had the surveillance footage all along. Why hadn't she shown it earlier? Was this a trap?

She quickly pulled Isaac's arm, her almond eyes filled with fake sorrow. "How could you do this? I trusted you so much!"

Upon smelling her perfume, he felt his body weaken. He quickly looked around and replied, "Yes, I did it, but I couldn't stand her arrogant attitude. It has nothing to do with anyone else."

At this moment, he certainly couldn't expose Xenia. It must have been because Noelle was too arrogant, regularly bullying her, and she had to act this way.

Upon hearing his response, Xenia finally felt relieved. After all, she couldn't let anyone discover her involvement.

She looked at Noelle, feeling guilty. "Noelle, I shouldn't have believed others and doubted you. I'm sorry."noveldrama

Noelle sneered. "You do owe me an apology."

Xenia's face froze momentarily, and she lowered her gaze, showing fear. Isaac looked at her, feeling quite self-righteous, and added, "It's normal for Ms. Quigley to suspect you. After all, you didn't provide any evidence earlier!" The moment he spoke, everyone was stunned.

Bobby shouted angrily, "You stole Ms. Liddell's code and still have the nerve to speak?"

Frank's expression was cold and harsh. "James, fire him immediately and call the police!"

Isaac panicked upon hearing the words "fired" and "call the police."

Xenia looked at Isaac with tears in her eyes, her gaze longing. Ultimately, he didn't reveal the truth and was escorted out by security.

Noelle smiled coldly. "It looks like Xenia has quite a charm, getting men to speak up for her so easily."

By this point, Isaac still hadn't exposed her as the mastermind behind the whole thing. She had to

admit that Xenia, that bitch, really had impressive tactics.

"Noelle, you misunderstood. Isaac and I are just colleagues. There's nothing more to it. He misled me earlier, so I really thought he had written the code."

Xenia gritted her teeth internally.

"Noelle, if you had the surveillance footage, why didn't you show it earlier? That way, there wouldn't have been any misunderstandings."

Who could have guessed that Noelle had surveillance footage? Evidently, she had anticipated someone tampering with her computerand deliberately left a trap.

Xenia couldn't help but feel a pang of fear. What if Isaac hadn't confessed due to her charm? She would have been done for.

Now that Frank no longer trusted her, she would be completely ruined if Isaac admitted she was behind it.

Noelle had set up the perfect trap. She casually played with her phone. "Because I wanted to see who was trying to frame me."

"It's obvious that Isaac couldn't solve the firewall issue and feared taking responsibility when Frank came to inspect, so he took the risk and did this."

Xenia felt a bit flustered. After all, Noelle seemed composed. Who knew what other evidence she might have?

Frank's face was stern. "We need to get to the bottom of this. I don't believe a team leader would dare pull off something this audacious alone."

Her heart sank. This was bad. What if they found out who was behind it during the questioning?
