Unforgettable love

Chapter 81

Chapter 81:.

“Let go of me.” Dolores widened her eyes and pressed her hands to her chest to stop his approach.

“Let go of me?” Matthew repeated that word in a slurred tone, feeling ridiculous.

Now he was furious that she wanted to cut him off. Now she only believed in her son’s innocence and doubted him.

He was really angry.

Dolores looked away, not daring to look at him. She could clearly feel his sturdy body that was several degrees higher than hers, as well as his familiar breathing. She closed her eyes, “My son is only five years old…”.

So it was impossible for him to do this kind of thing.

She tilted her head, showing her swan-like neck on which blue veins stood out slightly. Due to nervousness, his breathing was rapid and irregular, which was like a lovely melody. At first, Matthew only intended to scare her; however, seeing her reactions, he felt his blood boil.

He lowered his head and placed a kiss on her neck.

His lips were very soft and a little cold.noveldrama

Dolores made a lot of force to push him away, for she was frightened, “Let go of me. Don’t be shameless.”

“Shameless? I felt quite uncomfortable when your son embarrassed me just now. But why should I feel like a sirvergüenza now?” he murmured as he kept moving his head closer to her neck.

He liked the smell of her body as it was familiar and haunted him.

“Tell me, are you a witch?” If not, how did she manage to make him transform into a different being every time he was next to her?

Dolores did not answer. But tears ran down her cheeks and disappeared into the hair around her ears.

Matthew felt her spasmodic sobs. He lifted his head and held her face, forcing her to look into his eyes, “I just kissed you. Why do you look so aggrieved?”

Dolores softly opened her eyes. Her eyelashes were trembling slightly and she still had tears in her eyes. She replied in a broken voice, “Am I some easy woman who sleeps with men casually in your eyes?”

Matthew was stunned, “I never thought so.”

“You did. You never showed me respect.” She had tried hard to hold back the tears, but now they were all coming, “I slept with a man at 18 and was pregnant with his child, so you thought I was a promiscuous woman. I’m not that kind of woman, I’m not that kind of woman as you have imagined! So I had no choice.”

Matthew felt inexplicably nervous and wiped away her tears. Actually, he had to admit that he had once thought so.

Dolores turned her head to avoid his touch.

Matthew’s hand stopped near her ear and then he slowly arranged her messy locks of hair over her ears, saying, “I won’t mention your past anymore. Please forget your past as well.”

“What do you want to do?” Dolores struggled to suppress the surging emotions.

“I have already told you. I want you to go back to your original position…”

“What about my children, are you going to be their stepfather?” interrupted Dolores.

She knew deep down that Matthew was an arrogant man.

Accepting his impurity was already his bottom line, and he would never accept the other man’s children.

“You are an arrogant man. Can you stand to have the other man’s children call you father? Can you raise the other man’s children? You can’t…”

“Enough!” Matthew suddenly stood up.

In fact, Matthew was simply thinking about persuading Dolores to come back to him, and he had never considered about his children’s arrangements.

Dolores was right. He had already reached his lower limit by accepting Dolores’s impurity.

But he had never thought about being the children’s stepfather or raising the children for the other man.

He couldn’t do that.

Dolores sat down, smoothed out her messy clothes and then turned her eyes on Matthew who had his back to her, “It is a wise decision that we divorce and return to our original positions.”

“You know what the wise decision is?” he asked in a grim voice and in a very grumpy mood.

Dolores stood up and replied, “I don’t know. But I know my own feelings very well. I don’t like you, and you can’t accept my children either, it would be the best choice for us to sever our relationship.”

Her words ‘I know my feelings very well. I don’t like you’ reverberated in Matthew’s mind.

She didn’t like him?

Matthew scoffed.

Didn’t she like him?

Suddenly he turned around and grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, “You dare repeat your words?”.

Dolores felt the sharp pain in her neck.

Dolores got up from the floor. But she didn’t flinch at his red eyes and squeezed out a sentence, “I don’t like you. Do you want me to tell you a lie? You’ll never put up with a lie, will you?”

Although Dolores had not gotten along with him for a long time, she knew him well.

He was such an arrogant man that he would not allow others to indulge him with a lie.

Nevertheless, Matthew felt extremely unhappy.

He almost went mad.

Dolores was calm. She did not resist, nor did she stimulate him.

Although her neck ached, she struggled to bear it.

Her face was reddened from suffocation. She felt it hard to breathe as Matthew held her by the neck so tightly.

Matthew threw her to the ground angrily, “Don’t think you’re smart.”

Dolores fell to the ground. Covering her chest, she took deep breaths of air and only relieved the comfort after a long while. Then she got up from the floor and said, “When you make up your mind, you can ask your assistant Abbott to come and see me at any time.”

After finishing the words, he turned around and headed for the door. When he saw the piano in front of the French windows, he stopped and said without turning around, “Thank you for not throwing away the things I left here. I’ll come and take them out as soon as possible.”

After finishing the words, he headed back toward the door.

He had been pretending to be strong just now, but as soon as he stepped out of the villa, he couldn’t keep up the facade any longer.

He covered his chest with his other hand leaning against the wall.

He didn’t know why his heart ached.

“Miss Flores, are you all right?” Abbott, who was playing with his phone leaning against the car, came over as soon as he saw Dolores leave the villa.

Dolores shook her head, “I’m fine.”

“Good. Get in the car. I’ll take you back.” Dolores walked to the passenger seat door and opened it.

Dolores thanked him and climbed into the car.

Abbott studied her from the rearview mirror and asked, “You don’t look so good. Did you have a fight with Mr. Nelson?”

Dolores raised her head to look at him and suddenly remembered the news item Matthew had shown her. Then she pulled out her phone and found the ‘social news’ column on the masthead. In fact, she found the news item here! He furrowed his eyebrows and showed the news item to Abbott, asking him, “Were you on site when this happened?”.

Abbott had time to take a look at it. In fact, he had also seen this news item when he was playing with his phone just now.

But only until this moment did he understand why Matthew did not allow him to stop the assistant who was secretly taking pictures at the time.

Even if the photos were taken, they wouldn’t be reported if Matthew didn’t want others to know.

Now that they were reported, it meant that Matthew had done it deliberately.

As for motives, Abbott surmised that they must be related to Dolores.

Abbott nodded and replied, “Mr. Nelson and Mr. Powell of the SD Corporation were discussing business matters when your son burst in. He said the condoms accidentally fell off Mr. Nelson while he had the thing in hand.”

Dolores gripped her phone tightly and asked, “Matthew used to carry condoms with him?”

She felt faint as she asked the question. Who would be crazy enough to carry condoms with them at all times?

Even if he needed to, he wouldn’t carry it with him at all times.

This was not something a normal human being would do.

And obviously Matthew was a normal man.

“No.” Thinking carefully about the matter again, Dolores realized that it didn’t go with Matthew’s style.

When Matthew admitted that it was his condoms, Abbott was shocked.

Dolores picked up her phone again. She had to look into this matter.

Samuel was only five years old, if he really….

Dolores put her hand to her forehead, feeling very distressed.

The car arrived at her residence after a while and Dolores pushed open the door and got out of the car. Being in a hurry to find out what had happened, she did not say goodbye to Abbott.

When she opened the door, she found Jessica sorting through her luggage.

“Where’s Samuel?”

“In the bedroom.” Jessica noticed his horrified expressions and asked, “Are you feeling sick?”

“No.” Dolores just wanted to find out what was going on at that moment.

She headed for the bedroom and pushed open the door.
